Why are there separate Youth Groups for 6th - 8th grades and 9th - 12th grades?

There are two separate groups for most of the year because there is a lot of difference in a 6th grader and a 12th grader. These differences include spiritual and social maturity, areas of interest and concern as well as learning styles and abilities.

We want each student to get as much as they can from their Youth Group expereince and we have discovered that having separate Middle School and High School groups, we are able to better ensure that this happens.
