| Purpose Youth Ministry at Christ Episcopal Church exists to reach Christian and non-Christian young people, in grades 6-12, to help them share in God's Word, offer themselves in service to Christ, and to care for one another. We have a variety of opportunities for young people at Christ Church. Youth Group consists of students in both Middle School and High School. We meet on Sunday evenings to enjoy games, prayer, food, discussions, fun, food, activities, trips, and (did we mention?) food. Everyone is invited and encouraged to bring friends. Middle School Group (Grades 6-8): meets Sundays 4:30pm - 6:30pm. High School Group (Grades 9-12): meets Sundays 6:00pm - 8:00pm. During the summer months, we combine the Youth Groups and meet from 5:00pm - 7:00pm Missions and Service are an important part of our ministry. We participate in a variety of activities including summer mission trips and youth camps. Fund-Raising is done throughout the year with the majority of the money raised going into our Mission Fund so that we may increase the number of people we can help as well as increase the number of young people who can participate in our mission projects. |
